We had a long discussion tonight. We have grown tired of FreeForum's strict Terms of Services. I started looking at domain names.
I purchased http://www.sandcastleforums.com/
The forums are just now up. The posts and users could not be transferred because of FF's nazi backup system. They would have charged me $30 to do that. If you guys really care that much about that stuff, start a donation.
Maybe if we start a donation, we can pay to get all of our posts and usernames from th...

With the highly successful phpBB3 version of our hosting system taking off, we want to announce that as of June 1st, 2009 we will be closing our legacy (phpBB 2.0.x) version. At this time, all remaining legacy forums will be automatically converted to our new FF system (using phpBB3).
To the few forums still on the legacy version, we recommend creating a test forum first as phpBB3 can be quite different from what you're used to. Once you're ready ...

If I think an avatar is too big (which is usually 150 x 150 or bigger), I will resize it to 100 x 100 pixels, or 125 x 125 pixels and reupload it and set it as your avatar. Doylastic and baxtriz, you guys are examples of people I had to do this to. I won't just set a lower limit, because then that prevents you from getting a picture here. If you don't know how to resize it, I am basically doing it for you. Understand? 02\09\2009

Moderators recently have been editing the word censors. Do not edit them. Even if you notice something is wrong with them. If you notice something wrong, do not fix it, but instead PM me about it. There will not be 1 or more word censor on this forum ever. There are word censors now, but those are in places to make any others placed not work (unless someone deletes those, in which case, I'll be really mad). So, yes, do not do it. 10\13\08: There has been some confusion about this. Use this ONLY in topics you feel are important like ideas for the forum, etc.
There are a few types of topics. Now normally I will only state the type of topic in important things. If I do not state the type of topic, assume that it is a Free Topic. Stickies are topics that can be posted in. Announcements must not be posted in by any member except for the author and should be locked. The only time you can post is when you are updating it; you don't have to edit the post. When you are a moderator or administrator, and are not the author of the topic, and want to say something, you can edit the first post. Try not to do this though, because most announcements are straightforward and do not need any debate or arguments.

I have now added new rank images to the forums. There are three tiers of levels, A, B, and C. Tier A consists of cyan colored pills, Tier B consists of purple colored pills, and Tier C is black colored spheres. Tier C is ultimate, and in order to get level 6C, you need 10,000 posts. Should anyone get close to that, I will make another tier. Here is the minimum level requirements for each level:

This is a policy that has been with this forum through it's three generations. Once Introductory topics hit 6 pages, they will be locked and moved to Disposal. The randomness within the Introduction subforum should be controlled and kept in Randomness. That is my point in doing this.
It can be random, but when it hits 6 pages, it's moved.
